McDonald’s
I've been Art Directing for McDonald's on several commercial spots over the past few years.
My designs were brought to life by the incredible CG team at Hornet NYC and directed by the one and only Peter Sluszka. As you can imagine, art directing goes a long way. I'm very experimental, so I always love to try lots of different options before reaching the final result. For the sake of simplicity, I'm only sharing a small selection of sketches and concepts here.
SQUISHMALLOWS
Art directing this spot was… the cutest thing ever! I love the charm of Squishmallows. The brief was to create their own little home studios where they would be doing "their thing"—working out at the gym, taking photos of their friends, dancing ballet, or contemplating the stars—all inside a Happy Meal.
HALLOWEEN
Halloween is my favorite season to work on! I love all the mystery we can create with pumpkins, candles, and scarecrows, so I was really excited to be hired for this project. Of course, we can't make it too scary, since it's for the little ones—but it's still such a joy to work on!
MASKED SINGER
Working on the Masked Singer spot was amazing. Can you believe I got to reference Peter Greenaway for a McDonald's commercial? Yes, that's how far I love to push things! For every project—whether it's a commercial, a film, or anything else—I always put in the effort to give it my all. I bring in cinematic heroes, push boundaries as much as the client allows... though usually not too far, haha. I love it!
